We took our 2yr old son here for an ad hoc hair cut yesterday whilst on holiday, after noticing how much it was getting in his eyes at lunch...we booked the appointment online, very convenient, and were pleased when we turned up that it was geared up to make children enjoy the experience with the different cars to sit in (he got to swap half way through as it wasn't busy, and the nice man cutting his hair was totally ok with it - neatly sidestepping a potential tantrum) and toys, and a TV to watch cartoons. His hair was cut properly and the hairdresser was very patient with him looking around at everything, and he looked really smart and had a bit of a style to it afterwards - infinitely better experience than the previous place we went (where they just chopped his hair and gave him a mullet) Gutted that we don't live near here as we would totally come back - but a trip from Derby to London seems extreme for hair! I would definitely make the effort to return if we visit London again though. Thank you Nottii Hill!

We took my son here for his first haircut at nearly 3 years old. They have these brilliant seats for kids, a pink race car, a fire engine and Thomas the tank engine. He also got to watch Paw Patrol so wasn't really nervous at all after the first few minutes. The cut was great and I will definitely be taking my son back for his next cut.

I went today with my mum and I to Lamia's Hair and Beauty Salon. It was superb - the ambience was easy going and the hair styles were amazing! We have been going to this hair salon since it opened and are fully committed. This is the place to go for elegant hair cuts and styles.

I had a full head of highlights, cut and blow-dry and was delighted. Really nice, helpful staff. I can't remember her name but the salon owner did my hair and she was lovely.

Great haircuts by barbers who know what they are doing. Listen to what you need and take their time. Booked appointments has meant you are not waiting too long. High recommended! one of the best barbers I have been to. My only negative would be the increase in price over the years but even then it is still cheaper then the "big" names.

Jamie does an absolutely brilliant job. My haircut took like 45mins,normally hair dressers need 15min to cut my short hair.you can clearly see a difference, I like my hair a lot for the first time in years After cutted. Aswell they offered me a nice cold Pils and I enjoyed the Music and the Shop itself.relaxing and good!recommended!

Been here once. Good barber if you want something good and classy without breaking the bank, gimmick free (£26 for a sharp men's cut). They took their time, went carefully - not a quick/careless zip with the clippers like the many cheap and cheerful places in the Camden area - but with a sleek and minimalist space (or 'plain and utilitarian' depending on your point of view) you're also not paying over the odds for fancy decor, beer/tea/coffee/vodka/pretty girls to wash your hair etc that a lot of the more expensive places provide. 10% discount for Forces/NHS/students which is a nice touch. Will go back.

Had my beard ttimmed by the guys here. One of the few places I have found that seem to know what they are doing with beards.

Great staff! all experienced and know what they are doing either for a hair cut or just a quick wash and blow dry with a style. sometimes they even take walk-ins.

I got Asian thick hair. Most hair dressers in the UK don’t handle it well. But I had surprise here. Great job!

Highly recommended for single plaits and braids!!! I’ve been coming here for 3 years and come every other month for my protective hair style that get the most compliments. Winta and Awa are so fast and fabulous at braiding my hair they make the process of long single plaits quick, pain free with their pleasant chats and soothing traditional music early in the morning. I’ll always come here for my braids and recommend to everyone who stops me and asks where I get them done.
