Barrie Downie is a GENIUS. From the moment I spoke to him on the phone to interview him I knew he was the right man for the job. He is incredibly knowledgeable on lighting and also very passionate. From the moment he arrived he made everyone feel comfortable. He knew all the best angles for photographs as soon as he arrived. Even though the flat was small and dark the photos he took here were excellent. As I got dressed he took a few modelled shots which made it look like I actually knew how to put on a suit. Thanks for that Barrie. At the wedding his attention to detail was uncomperable. As well as getting excellent photos of the ceremony, several group shots, and some great modelled photos of my new wife and I around our venue, he also got so many photos of our friends and family chatting which really captured the feel of the day. If you're looking for a wedding photographer, spend the extra money and hire a professional. I would recommend Barrie Downie a thousand times over to anyone who needed a photographer.

Barrie is an amazing photographer. The entire process of the pre-wedding photo shoot was very exhaustive, as expected, in addition to the extremely sunny weather. However we were pleasantly surprised how he consistently relates to us and ensure that the whole experience was a seamless and great one. There may be many great photographers out there, but I can assure you, he is the real deal who knows what his client wants. We all know that indoor shoots are always relatively easier to take, and outdoor shoots are usually more challenging due to lighting limitations, yet he is able to overcome such limitations at ease. Really great photos

Julie was our wedding photographer and to say that we were impressed by the beauty and quality of our photos from the day is an understatement. Not only did Julie provide us with a stunning set of pictures which captured our big day perfectly, but she also made the day even more special by being a part of it. As a nervous bride I expected to find the pressure of photos a bit overwhelming, but having Julie there made the experience relaxing, fun and extra special. I would highly recommend Julie as your wedding photographer; I can't imagine anyone else capturing our day in the special way that she did.

I have worked with Julie multiple times over the past few years and am always in awe of her professionalism, kindness and attention she brings to photography. Not only is she a talented photography and her photos are always gorgeous, she is also wonderful at making people feel comfortable when they are in front of the camera; from a bride and groom, model or even a family with their newborn baby. Her attention to detail is amazing, spending time scouting the venue prior and capturing every detail of the special moment that are important to clients.
