MLB were fantastic in every respect! We needed builders at very short notice to put in a new ceiling and redecorate our master bedroom. MLB gave us the cheapest quote and started the job a few days later. Tomas and his team were very polite, neat, worked very hard, and listened and responded to what we wanted. They took real pride in their work and this showed in the quality of the plastering and the redecorating: everything was done to a very high standard. We would definitely use them again, and recommend them to friends.

I had a loft conversion from My London Builders, and it was great. I’m not normally someone who writes these kinds of things, or even say thank you, but I’m breaking a habit of a lifetime so you get to know these guys are good. If you want reliable, solid builders who do what they say, finish the job, on time and on budget, these are for you. I have a 1930’s semi like thousands of others in London. Builders came and went with quotes both sides of astronomical. My London Builders weren’t the cheapest, but they came with the most recommendations, which is worth more than money when your house is at stake. They did a good job, cleaned up their own mess, and the only expense over and above the quote was for a box of teabags and a few pints of milk. Considering the job they did, it was money well spent.

The new addition to our family meant that there was only one option which was to get some more additional space from our home in Wandsworth. The old layout was just too out of date, small and cluttered with closed off spaces and not much natural light at all. Our neighbours had used Builders GB last year to update their home with a new pod style loft conversion and a stunning wrap around extension with a glass roof which looks very well designed, futuristic and professionally finished off. We decided to go for the same and in addition we had most of the internal walls removed on the ground floor as well to help bring in more natural light. Builders GB are very helpful and provided all the services that were needed, they also provided architectural, planning and building consultation services at no extra cost to us.

Builders GB just finished my basement conversion, double storey extension and loft conversion. The finish is amazing and the quality of the products and materials is of a very high spec. I came to know of Builders GB through a friend of mine who is an architect he advised me to use them as they work on many projects with the company he works for. They took care of everything from start to finish including architectural and structural drawings and calculations, planning permissions, building control, soil tests and they helped me with the party wall agreements as well. Hassle free and very well priced.

Fantastic service from Amos and Dawn at Park Lane after I'd mistakenly ordered a car with the wrong transmission. Instead of telling me to put up with it (which is what some car hire places would have done), they quickly located a replacement car in a nearby branch and then lent me a car to drive there - and they escorted me there just to make sure everything went smoothly too. Great service, great atittude, great people - I'm certain to rent from them again.

Incredibly friendly staff and great service. While one person was taking care of the paperwork another one was already bringing the van. Very efficient! I was out in 10 minutes, including checking for damages and so on. Best car hire I have been to so far in the UK.

Great range of beers and friendly staff make this pub a haven. If you're tired of Oxford Street, it's only a short walk to well kept beer and tasty bar snacks. The pork pie, with mustard and pickle was a perfect lunchtime snack. Heartily recommended - especially during World Cup games are being shown. Good beer, hearty food and football. A winning combination.

Small pub near Cumberland Hotel. Popped in for a couple of pints on way home. Appears to be more locals that tourists so a more real pub than most. Good selection of real ale on tap and quick service. Would happily visit again when next in area

Bradley is a reliable professional who did a really good job when we got our apartment. Our electrical system was dated but good enough to keep it, so Bradley made sure that the old parts were safe. He also fitted twenty new sockets, installed the oven, replaced the old 70s electric switchboard a moved it to a safer area. Finally he installed several spotlights in the kitchen ceiling. Everything he did works very well and is professionally certified. And he is an extremely personable and nice person to boot!

Bradley devoted a lot of thought to the problem of damp penetration of steps leading to a shower cubicle. He arrived at a good solution and carried out the work very professionally. The finished repair work Is both functional and very attractive. Also, he was very neat and tidy and punctual. I will certainly ask him to work for me in the future.

Really, your experience with Branco and his team will depend on your expectations. If you're looking for a polished, polite and human experience, you'll be hard pressed to find a better place than W. Hamstead Motors. This holds especially true for Classic Mercedes vehicles. If he can save you money, Branco is honest enough to ensure his team will. Just don't expect him to reduce his admittedly high hourly labour rate for you. There are cheaper workshops out there. Few deliver the same level of sincerity and value.

Porsche Guru’s, it's the only way to describe this company. Driving my Porsche 911 is a huge passion of mine, you could say I’m in love with my car:) I wanted a full service and the whole car fully checked. When I brought the car in I was asked what’s wrong with the car, I said nothing I just need the car maintained to a high standard. Car Care reviewed everything and the car came out of their garage running even smoother. There is one way to describe this company, they have been like a good doctor to me for my car. Thanks to car care 1 one my Porsche is always very reliable and despite being 6 years old it has never let me down once.

The service provided by them to me when I purchased my Q7 was outstanding. There was a defect in the car spotted after I purchased it, without fuss (which was a massive relief for me), they took it from me and had it repaired by audi and fully serviced (again done right), in the interim I was provided with a courtesy car and was given regular updates on the progress of the repair. If I had to buy again I will look at them first. Extremely trustworthy Thanks Dan for facilitating the sale and for the support while the car got fixed!

Absolutely love it. I was allowed to enter and make soms pictures of the cars that were in the showroom. Very nice people behind the desk who allowed me to take a look at the engine and even sit in one of the cars! Excellent service and definitly reccomendable for any ferrari fan!

Ricolways is a breath of fresh air in an industry who are fairly known to rip people off. I went to a previous body shop around the corner in West Hampstead and was quoted £1,300 to repair some small scratches and minor dents or £180 to just do a touch up. Ricolway Autos quoted me £350 to do the bigger job of the two and then did the touch up for peanuts. So grateful to come across some kind and honest people in the car repair business. Will be recommending them to anyone and everyone who needs repairs for their car.

My car was crashed into and the insurance arranged for my car to go to fix auto. I was quite sceptical based on the reviews, however they have done an amazing job! The staff were always helpful when I phoned up for an update.

I was impressed with the hard working staff, but they are seriously undermanned on a Sunday and the queue of customers awaiting pick up quickly grew. I arrived promptly for my car booking at 1100, but did not reach the front of the queue until noon, and finally drove my car away at 1230. For our booking they had useful special offer - use of a mobile WiFi unit for the duration of the car hire if you join up to the Hertz Golden Miles Club. Worth checking if this would apply to your hire.

It's hilarious! When you booked your car in London online don't fall for their cheap daily rental rate only. There are lots of hidden cost involved. However with Hertz it's much straight forward and more assuring. Customers service is good too. You will be offered a no-frill full insurance coverage at a small fee, trust me!... TAKE IT! This coverage will save you lots of unnecessary trouble resulting from a small dent to a small scratch. It's worth the money spent. If you are driving far away, I suggest that you also take the GPS device. Google maps on your hand phone doesn't show all parts of England.

Experience was good, look for the unmarked office in the lobby of the hotel. A very convenient location for after-hours drop-off as the hotel has underground parking and front desk staff.

Excellent job on repairing the seat belt on my classic Alfa Romeo Spider. I was convinced it needed a new roller etc, but the technician repaired the existing one and saved me money. He also helped me on a couple of repairs to my soft top while he was here at no extra cost. I recommend them highly. And BTW, to the racist reviewer on here, they are Polish and had no problem understanding me!

Despite initial confusion over the appointment date, all worked well. My technician Tom arrived in a timely fashion, completed the job in the time he said it would take and was professional and courteous. Thanks again.

Great service! I just came in without prior appointments. They fixed my bike fast and even included some spare parts for free. It costs nearly nothing and I hot some good advice from mechanic(I believe his name us Mike). Will definitely use them on regular basis now.

In a dispute with a shop, I needed an impartial technical report. Yan technology provided a thorough, factual, and detailed report, in a reasonable time and at a reasonable price. They listed the good points of the device, and the points where it fell short in a fair and convincing way. Very minor niggles (nobody's perfect), I'd be glad to use them again.

I had an issue of a stuck key on my laptop keyboard. Chris, the adviser who handled my issue, was very prompt, accommodating and helpful. He also was very skilled at re-inserting the key in it's place having had a lot of experience with the issue. Overall I was very pleased.

Good coffee. Wide selection of beverages and snacks. Regrettably majority of male staff don't pay attention to task at hand. Few times already I received ice mocha (espresso, ice, milk, chocolate syrup) without any coffee shot inside. It is so disappointing when you are forced, by past and ongoing present experiences, to look at baristas hands to ensure you get the drink you ordered. The only hope is in female staff members who are focused, listen to suggestuons and deliver quality experience consistently.

Amazing experience, passed my class 2 yesterday in slough. I had family issues during my practical training and had to take 2 weeks off to go away and sort the mess and the team at specialised HGV completely understood my situation and arranged the remaining training days and extra 2 hours of training for no extra cost, I'm completely surprised. I did not expect that but I'm very happy and impressed with them for helping me out. The team and instructor Ray was very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for your HGV licence. I'm also thinking of coming back to them for my class 1 training in six months.

I wasn't sure initially if I wanted to drive the Artic or the Rigid. However, after speaking to Tom, I was very clear. Thanks to the team for supporting me throughout the process. Sissi and Angel helped me through the initial process and Jerry my instructor was simply the best. He understood exactly what I needed and what my issues where when it came to the Rigid. I cannot recommend Australasian Recruitment Company enough, I had previously signed up with many other agencies in order to get work in administration but I was not getting any calls or offers of work. However when I signed up with Australasian I was regularly contacted by my consultant Santhiya, to discuss roles that were available. Within a couple of weeks of registering I was put forward for a role with a lovely University and got the job after my interview. I ended up staying with that organization for close to 12 months until my visa came to an end. The administration and payroll team at Australasian were also highly professional and were able to assist with any requests regarding leave etc. Signing up with Australasian was the best decision I had made whilst in London, my only regret is not signing with them sooner!

Wow has this place has a makeover or what ?! Almost totally unrecognisable from this tine last year when l last reviewed it. It's not bigger just brighter, better organised, easier to manuouvre in, more interactive, more inclusive of all family members ( parents get bored too !! ) a much more enjoyable experience all round. They have 'Entertainers' in there demonstrating slime, making balloon models and welcoming you into store. Its West Londons abswer to Hamleys. With all the current sales promotions and competitions l can't see how John Lewis can compete. Well done marketing. Particularly impressive was the member of staff helping out a shy child at the 'Selfie Mirror'. She was patient, kind and encouraging. This is also a great place to spend pocket money or buy gifts on a budget with gift wrap on hand by the counter. This Nana was seriously ' entertained' by watching everyone else get excited about slime !!!!

They are very keen agents to get you to look at as many properties that they have on their books for your budget. that's a good point BUT when it came down to the nitty gritty of realistic price of what a property is Really worth they don't listen to you as a buyer and wont budge on price. Hi all My experience was with Natalie Simpkin. She’s been amazing on every aspect, from the very beginning till the end. She was very good at listening my needs and proposing only properties that would suit me, not wasting my time with wrong ones. She was always available and flexible to meet and to arrange viewings, giving me all sort of information before and after in order to help me in the choice. In the end I didn’t buy through foxtons, but just because the property wasn’t listed with it and absolutely not for the service that Natalie provided; to be honest I was really hoping to find the right solution with her because I would have trusted her on handeling all my paperwork for the purchase. Excellent service from Paul Williams and his team at the Kilburn branch. Although a difficult time I felt supported and guided every step of the way. Do not look any further if you want to be given a fantastic service.

What a cracking rooftop bar! The gardens are stunning, rustic and plants and trees a plenty. Great seating spots dotted around and even a deckchair or 2. A Gin bar is also stationed here and of course a main bar with a great selection of wine beers and seasonal cocktails. A hidden gem, well worth a visit. If you like your music you can pop into 1 of 4 studios to listen to any genre you want to!

Nice little bar in the sun, but the gin bar, which is one of the main selling points, closes at 7pm, even though the rooftop doesn’t close until 9pm. Also, there is only one toilet - literally! Male, female and disabled toilet, as well as the baby change are all in one cubicle. Yes, there are alternate toilets in the store, but the store closes an hour before the bar. The wine list is very limited. Great little escape in the sun, but not the best bar. It wouldn’t take much to make it great.

We couldn't be happier with the garden created by Charlotte Rowe and her team. They have so many great ideas but what we valued even more was the close attention to timelines and budget. Charlotte was realistic from the start about what was involved in creating new gardens and certainly gave us what we were looking for.

We took our 2yr old son here for an ad hoc hair cut yesterday whilst on holiday, after noticing how much it was getting in his eyes at lunch...we booked the appointment online, very convenient, and were pleased when we turned up that it was geared up to make children enjoy the experience with the different cars to sit in (he got to swap half way through as it wasn't busy, and the nice man cutting his hair was totally ok with it - neatly sidestepping a potential tantrum) and toys, and a TV to watch cartoons. His hair was cut properly and the hairdresser was very patient with him looking around at everything, and he looked really smart and had a bit of a style to it afterwards - infinitely better experience than the previous place we went (where they just chopped his hair and gave him a mullet) Gutted that we don't live near here as we would totally come back - but a trip from Derby to London seems extreme for hair! I would definitely make the effort to return if we visit London again though. Thank you Nottii Hill!

We took my son here for his first haircut at nearly 3 years old. They have these brilliant seats for kids, a pink race car, a fire engine and Thomas the tank engine. He also got to watch Paw Patrol so wasn't really nervous at all after the first few minutes. The cut was great and I will definitely be taking my son back for his next cut.

I went today with my mum and I to Lamia's Hair and Beauty Salon. It was superb - the ambience was easy going and the hair styles were amazing! We have been going to this hair salon since it opened and are fully committed. This is the place to go for elegant hair cuts and styles.

I had a full head of highlights, cut and blow-dry and was delighted. Really nice, helpful staff. I can't remember her name but the salon owner did my hair and she was lovely.

Great haircuts by barbers who know what they are doing. Listen to what you need and take their time. Booked appointments has meant you are not waiting too long. High recommended! one of the best barbers I have been to. My only negative would be the increase in price over the years but even then it is still cheaper then the "big" names.

My haircut took like 45mins,normally hair dressers need 15min to cut my short hair.you can clearly see a difference, I like my hair a lot for the first time in years After cutted. Been here once. Good barber if you want something good and classy without breaking the bank, gimmick free (£26 for a sharp men's cut). They took their time, went carefully - not a quick/careless zip with the clippers like the many cheap and cheerful places in the Camden area - but with a sleek and minimalist space (or 'plain and utilitarian' depending on your point of view) you're also not paying over the odds for fancy decor, beer/tea/coffee/vodka/pretty girls to wash your hair etc that a lot of the more expensive places provide. 10% discount for Forces/NHS/students which is a nice touch. Will go back.

Highly recommended for single plaits and braids!!! I’ve been coming here for 3 years and come every other month for my protective hair style that get the most compliments. Winta and Awa are so fast and fabulous at braiding my hair they make the process of long single plaits quick, pain free with their pleasant chats and soothing traditional music early in the morning. I’ll always come here for my braids and recommend to everyone who stops me and asks where I get them done.

My favourite library! Excellent range of books, great cafe, good wifi, good working area and chairs. Seats by windows for reading. Generally quiet though you do occasionally get rowdy toddlers and once I saw a theatre group acting in the fiction section!! The toilets need refurbishment and the art gallery area is under-utilised and should be converted to something else. Also, what actually goes on on the ground floor? Anyone know? Deducted a star as the toilets have become abysmal and the cafe has closed. Library is going downhill! Please sort out the toilets!

I was very pleased with the minimal level of noise, which is scarcely obtainable in my local area. I wish I could say the same about the toilets however, as I didn't feel comfortable enough to use them. Cleanliness everywhere else was fine.

It is such a small library for such a rich area; but I guess I should be grateful there is a library here at all; anyway, just make sure you check whether the book you are after is in stock and you should be fine; however, it doesn't seem to have a lot of desks and computers.

Lovely, calm big library. Staff are very nice except for some rude old lady who I found not bothered to help at all. I love this library for many reasons and the main one is, it's close to my house an very relaxing!

I do like this library, I especially love the grand building in which it is housed (very peaceful) especially in the rest-room. Staff are very helpful ; had an initial problem with connecting to the 'free' Wi-Fi on my Laptop but the staff were very helpful and quickly managed to resolve problem.

Barrie Downie is a GENIUS. From the moment I spoke to him on the phone to interview him I knew he was the right man for the job. He is incredibly knowledgeable on lighting and also very passionate. From the moment he arrived he made everyone feel comfortable. He knew all the best angles for photographs as soon as he arrived. Even though the flat was small and dark the photos he took here were excellent. As I got dressed he took a few modelled shots which made it look like I actually knew how to put on a suit. Thanks for that Barrie. At the wedding his attention to detail was uncomperable. As well as getting excellent photos of the ceremony, several group shots, and some great modelled photos of my new wife and I around our venue, he also got so many photos of our friends and family chatting which really captured the feel of the day. If you're looking for a wedding photographer, spend the extra money and hire a professional. I would recommend Barrie Downie a thousand times over to anyone who needed a photographer.

Barrie is an amazing photographer. The entire process of the pre-wedding photo shoot was very exhaustive, as expected, in addition to the extremely sunny weather. However we were pleasantly surprised how he consistently relates to us and ensure that the whole experience was a seamless and great one. There may be many great photographers out there, but I can assure you, he is the real deal who knows what his client wants. We all know that indoor shoots are always relatively easier to take, and outdoor shoots are usually more challenging due to lighting limitations, yet he is able to overcome such limitations at ease. Picture speaks a thousand words. Here is one which I am sharing my joy with all.

Really great photos

Julie was our wedding photographer and to say that we were impressed by the beauty and quality of our photos from the day is an understatement. Not only did Julie provide us with a stunning set of pictures which captured our big day perfectly, but she also made the day even more special by being a part of it. As a nervous bride I expected to find the pressure of photos a bit overwhelming, but having Julie there made the experience relaxing, fun and extra special. I would highly recommend Julie as your wedding photographer; I can't imagine anyone else capturing our day in the special way that she did.

I have worked with Julie multiple times over the past few years and am always in awe of her professionalism, kindness and attention she brings to photography. He is a nice chap who runs this shop. Have got to know is wife and daughter and they are a lovely family. He is a bit disorganised and the shop always appears to be jam packed full of baths/basins and assortments of all sorts of stuff. But when we need plumbing bits and pieces I try and take my business his way and he sells the stuff I need like hep2o and all the fittings and general plumbing bits and pieces. Nice chap and a good shop.

We had an issue our plumbing for a year and after using several plumbers, none were able to identify and fix the problem. I asked Steve to look into in and within 24 hours managed to solve it. Easily the best plumber in the area!

Wonderful and prompt service, would absolutley use again. After discovering a significant leak we called Steve and he managed to come within two hours, despite having a number of appointments. The problem was quickly and cheaply fixed all with friendly service.

Came here with a car full of stuff when clearing out our cellar. They seem to be able to take most types of things you might reasonably be able to recycle, and the staff were helpful and not at all officious as you could imagine they might be in a place like this. Overall no complaints from me.

Managed to do a 250 mile move with this company at a very very reasonable rate. Thanks to their excellent staff who managed to arrange with their other office near our old home in the South East to arrange collection of our possessions to transport to the North East.. which saved us almost 1-2k as a result.. Their removals guys were incredibly helpful and worked real quick loading it all onto their lorry. Even when we encountered a last minute massive problem (delay in completion for another week). They were able to still transport our possessions and arranged to be held in storage and delivered to the new home once we were in possession of it. Yes there was an additional cost for this. But was so relieved that they were and to take care of it all which helped relieve that stress. They kept in touch and thoroughly helpful and professional throughout. Highly recommend.

Was impressed by Aussie Man and Van from the start- when I called and spoke to Terry he was professional and very considerate to the fact I was moving house at over 8 months pregnant. He was able to talk through the services that would be best for me and quick and efficient sending through the quote and responding to my follow up questions. We booked the packing service - Conrad was our packer and he was amazing! Everything was very carefully wrapped and packed, then boxed and labelled to ensure it was easy to work out what needed to go where when we got to the new house. We also booked removers and got Conrad again together with colleague Nick. They did a stellar job- quick, polite, efficient and professional. They really are an asset to the company - they were brilliant. I will NEVER use another removal company - Aussie is the ONLY company you should use. You won’t be disappointed.

My favourite Indian restaurant! Excellent food with great service! The staff were fantastic! Every time I come here I have a great time and this evening was no exception. The food is great whatever you get, and the staff are great at cracking a joke and making the table smile. We had a very fussy eater in our group and even they ate everything with no complaint (success!!). There's only one thing I would say they could change, and that is to be able to give a tip on the card machine. We didn't have much cash and I felt like they deserved a bigger tip than we were able to give! Good place to go whether you're in a group with friends/family or a quiet meal for two.

Went with my old school friends and food was good. The price is reasonable and they give you slices of oranges instead of after eights which we didn't mind. Did offer us tea but unsure if that was on the house.

Our vet for the past 4.5 years, we absolutely love Dr Carmichael and his “second in command” Sarah. They are both lovely and beyond helpful. Dr Carmichael is highly experienced, and I love that he always uses the approach that’s best for the animal and never runs unnecessary tests (vs American vets I was used to). Our four pets have been in excellent hands here!

Took my Chihuahua here for a check-up and straight away I noticed the staff were friendly and professional. Andrew gave some really great advice and was very honest. This veterinary clinic is the best and most reasonably priced clinic I have ever been to. They are genuinely interested in the health and well-being of your pet, rather than your money. 10/10
