The staff were very efficient with check in and check out, which was all done with no fuss or delays. I ate in the bar/restaurant and the food was good and freshly prepared. I had the haddock fish cake with salad - very nice and reasonably priced. The chef brought it to my table which was a very nice touch. I would stay again if I need to do so.
Stayed her in August. The rooms are extremely comfortable with everything needed to enjoy a stress free stay. Can highly recommend the breakfast (which is very competitive with other local areas). You can eat as much as you want and its freshly made, with an abundance of options for every taste. The staff are very friendly and helpful too. This is our second stay. It is really handy if you are visiting the Kensington Olympia Exhibition Centre. Just 5 mins away from here on foot, also handy for buses and tube. The railway station is also just 5 mins away on foot.

Located in a busy area in front of Hyde Park. Generally the hotel works fine, specially if you’re in London on business or on a short stay. In my case, I’ve been there on a 2-day conference with my company and everything went well, starting on the staff on reception, maintenance, bar and restaurant. Breakfast was great, lunch time wasn’t that good but acceptable. Room service works fine even at night time. The only problem was the room! I was on a Very small room with capital V! The bathroom was also tiny and for a 6 foot 4 person like me the shower was unbelievably small. The wall is even inclined which makes a bit difficult to complete the task. Despite that, the room looked as new and was comfortable enough though!
A reasonable hotel in a good location but the rooms need updating. The size of the room itself was small but typical of historical buildings but the water pressure and heat for the shower made it almost unusable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room only so can't comment on breakfast but evening meal at restaurant was good and well priced although £6 for a pint of Diet Coke is just crazy even if it is London. So many places to eat around that area though I would recommend getting out and about if the weather is good and you are able. Hyde Park is a real treat to go for a walk, run or cycle.

Rooms were petty good, although the bed wasn't exactly spectacular. Breakfast was alright, with a lot of things to choose from. Overall pretty decent for what you would expect
Booking in process wasn't good. Breakfast good. Room adequate. On the whole a decent place for a short London stay

Best pub food thus far. I’ve been in the UK for 4 weeks, eating at a pub every other day, and this is the best pub food I’ve had. It was completely empty in the middle of lunch time on a Saturday, so my group of 9 was skeptical. But I have no idea why this place is not packed. Their pasta and risotto of the day was great, and they are accommodating to allergies. It was also reasonably priced.
A reasonably good selection of beers. Not much of a selection of cider - only a few bottled varieties. I ordered a burger which was reasonably tasty although a bit weird with three onion rings inside and a giant quarter sliced gherkin on top. The burger itself was unexpectedly crunchy, and definitely over cooked. Could have been better.

This pub is located in one of the most gracious and beautiful areas of London. There are indoor and outdoor seats and tables. They serve good looking food (the fried squid was very tasty and crispy) and have a nice choice of drinks! The staff is very friendly. When crowded, the place becomes too noisy and the communication with your neighbouring friends very challenging. Toilets are available but not disable accessible.
The pub had a great atmosphere, the food was excellent and the staff are very friendly.

Visiting to watch the football. Nice after work crowd. Meets your expectations for a London pub but nothing more.
Nice place offering tasty food. Service is very friendly and accommodating. Great for meeting friends. Would be nice if they had more cocktails on offer.

Quaint lovely English B&B. Very beautiful, quiet. Extremely close to pubs, portabello road shopping and transit. Breakfast was very plentiful and brought directly to your room at the appointed time.
Very quaint, old English boarding house. Excellent breakfast served at time you select. Very helpful staff. Enjoyed our stay immensely.

If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!
